Hello Brethren,
I hope you are all staying safe and are doing well. Please note that the stated meeting held at the Austin Scottish Rite Temple next Wednesday, September 1st will include the capping and ring ceremony for our newest members. We will be presenting the members of the 2021 Spring Reunion class with their Scottish Rite caps, 14th degree ring, and patents.
-The evening will start with the Collegium Ecossais making a presentation on the 18th degree or the “Knight of the Rose Croix”. Discussion on the presentation will be held afterward. The Collegium will meet in the auditorium of the Temple at 5:30 p.m.
-Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room. Brother Chef Sentell is planning a special meal for the occasion.
-The capping ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.
-We will hold a brief stated meeting to conduct the business of the Rite immediately following the ceremony.
As always, please consider your own health and the well being of your Brothers when you make plans to attend.
I hope to see you all there for this auspicious occasion where we again, welcome our new members to the Fraternity.
