Hello my Brothers,
Please join the officers, members, and guests at the Austin Scottish Rite Temple to present the newest members of the Valley with their caps, 14th degree Scottish Rite rings, and patents. I hope to see you Wednesday, February 4th starting at 5:30 p.m. for our stated meeting and capping ceremony.
The capping ceremony will be open to friends and family. Recommended dress code for members is coat and tie.
Our Prelate, Brother Dr. David Hill will give a presentation during the Collegium Ecossaise beginning at 5:30 p.m. The topic will be an introduction to Scottish Rite Freemasonry with open discussion for participants. He has informed me that the content will be suitable for guests and family members who are interested in attending. In addition to this topic we will also dicuss the various charities supported by the Scottish Rite. You are encouraged to attend the Collegium at any time after 5:30, even if you arrive later, the conversation remains engaging and valuable.
• The Collegium Ecossaises will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Family and guests are welcome to attend.
• Dinner will be served in the dining room at 6:30 p.m. by Brother Mike Sentell and the Order of the Garde Manger. Members of the Fall 2025 reunion class and their guests are guests of the Valley. Your meals are complimentary.
• At 7:30 p.m. we will hear a presentation on the Austin Scottish Rite Community and Children’s Theater form the Theater Artistic Executive Director in the auditorium.
• We will begin the Ring and Capping ceremony in the auditorium immediately following the Theater presentation. After the capping ceremony , we will invite the guests and members to withdraw to the lobbies while the membership conducts a brief but complete stated meeting. Members with guests are welcome to depart at that time should they wish.

The capping ceremony is a great opportunity for you to get to know the new members and for them to appreciate the support and fraternal friendship we enjoy at the Austin Valley.
**Remember that our Feast of Foundation will be held on March 4th in lieu of our stated meeting. Please invite all Master Masons who are interested in joining the Scottish Rite or would like to hear about the benefits of belonging to our ancient fraternity. RSVP is required for members and non-member Master Masons at https://tinyurl.com/feast-26
I hope to see you all soon.
Sincerely and fraternally,
