Feast of Bannockburn Summons 2017
The Venerable Master, Sir Adrian Early, has declared that the Feast of Bannockburn will be celebrated on Sunday evening, July 16, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Cover 3, 2700 W. Anderson Lane in Austin TX. The cost to each Sir Knight to attend is $50 paid at the door; drinks besides iced tea and coffee are available through the Cover 3 bar. Although the $50 may seem extravagant to have a meal worthy of Thistle Knights, the cost is going to be there.
Reservations are required. Please email Sir Knight James Mercier, Thistle Recorder, at jmercier@ieee.org to record your reservation on or before July 14th. The attire shall be Thistle Formal (tuxedo or kilt, sash, and hats).
Socializing and appetizers will be from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the following appetizers set out around the hall:

Our speaker for the evening will be Sir Knight James Mercier, 32°, who will describe the Battle of Bannockburn and the lessons learned that can be applicable to every day life. This should be a very interesting presentation indeed.
After the presentation, we will enjoy questions and general discussion as well as the raffle of items which will be organized by our Emeritus Sir Knight Garth Weaver, PVM.
