Hello Brethren,
The stated meeting tomorrow will be held in observance of the Feast of Tishri. The Feast of Tishri is a symbol of freedom and is celebrated to rededicate King Solomon’s Temple through fraternity and brotherly love. The Feast of Tishri is considered the most “Scottish Rite” of observances. A special dinner will be served in the dining room and we will revisit the 14th degree in the stated meeting. I hope you will all make every attempt to attend if within length of your cable tow. The Supreme Council considers the Feast of Tishri to be an obligatory observance and a “sharing of our fraternal spirit.”. I hope to see you all there.
5:30 p.m. – Collegium Ecossaise Venerable Master Brother Christian Moore will hold a question and answer session to discuss the direction of instruction during the Collegium. Please attend and give input on topics that you would like to discuss in future sessions. Discussion will be held in the Auditorium before dinner.
6:30 p.m. – Dinner will be served by Brother, Chef Mike Sentell and the Brothers of the Garde Manger in the dining room. Beverages will be available for the obligatory toasts and the celebration of the Feast of Tishri.
7:30 p.m. – The stated meeting will be held in the Auditorium. We will hear an educational presentation, Revisit the 14th degree, and conduct the business of the Scottish Rite Valley of Austin.
I look forward to celebrating the Feast of Tishri with you and enjoying the fraternal spirit that is present when Brothers meet in harmony.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
