It is your secretary’s sad duty to inform you of the passing of our good Brother Archie W. Scott 33° I.G.H.
Brother Scott layed down his working tools on Friday, December 9, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at St. Marks Methodist Church at 601 W. Braker Lane in Austin on Monday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m.
Graveside services will be held at the Schulenburg City Cemetery, 535 N. Main Street in Schulenburg, Texas at 3:00 p.m.also on Monday, December 19.
Brother Archie Scott was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 30, 1924. He served in the United States Marine Corp and defended his country in multiple conflicts and theaters. He recieved the bronze star with Valor and two purple hearts.
Archie served as the treasurer for the Grand Lodge of Texas for many years and belonged to mutiple lodges in Texas.
We will mis Brother Archie’s humor, stories, freindship, and generosity.
