Austin Scottish Rite: Leadership Retreat
The Austin Scottish Rite Valley has scheduled a leadership retreat for Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m. A light breakfast will be served before the retreat and followed up at the end by a light lunch. The retreat will address issues and challenges faced by Valley leadership. We will present and discuss expectations of the Officers for the several Bodies and duties assigned to each Body. Every officer has a job description for which he is responsible. The Bodies have individual functions within the Valley that they have the duty of performing. The support organizations within the Valley have very specific functions and unique challenges. These topics will be discussed with a goal of mutual assistance and partnership in developing solutions.
This will be our first Leadership Retreat from which we will all learn and grow. We will schedule additional retreats starting in the spring and expand on the success of the first retreat. All who are in a position of leadership, or desire to become part of the Valley leadership team are welcome to attend. Officers of all Bodies, the Garde Manger, the KOSA Order of the Thistle, and the Sanhedrin should seriously consider attending the Retreat if you are able to do so. We value your input and look forward a beneficial exchange of ideas. I hope to see as many of you as possible on January 11,2020 for our first Leadership Retreat.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Don Eames
