Hello my Brother,
I wish you all a happy spring and hope that this correspondence finds you well. With spring comes the promise of new beginnings. This is certainly the case with the Austin Scottish Rite Valley and the promise of new friends and Brothers that will become members during the 2025 Spring Reunion.
I invite you to attend the 2025 Spring Scottish Rite Reunion for the Valley of Austin on May 17th and 18th. This is our best opportunity to meet the new candidates, catch up with our friends and Brothers, and to revisit the lessons of our degrees.
In addition to the terminal degrees, the Valley will include degrees that have not been conferred in decades. I urge you to join us to observe the hard work of the degree teams, Sanhedrin, Officers, and members of the Austin Scottish Rite.
The 2025 spring Reunion will be dedicated to
Illustrious Brother Andrew J. McVeigh III, 33° I.G.H.
on May 17th and 18th at the Austin Scottish Rite Temple. Both days start with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. with the Reunion ceremonies beginning at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will be served at noonwith a memorial service for Brother McVeigh to be held at noon on Saturday. We will confer and communicate the
4th through the 18th degrees on Saturday and the 19th through the 32nd on Sunday.
Parking is available in the lot next to the building except for the last row net to Colorado St. which is reserved at all times for Spectrum News. Parking is free in the state parking lot ½ block south of the building. Use the Colorado St. entrance to the parking garage.
I encourage you to join us for the reunion even if you are only able to attend one degree or the whole day. Call your Scottish Rite Brothers and invite them to join you. I look forward to a great reunion and hope that I will see many of you there. Please join us in welcoming these new members to the Rite and enjoy one of the best parts of the Scottish Rite schedule.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Don Eames
