Hello Brethren,
I hope this email finds you well as we look to our Spring Reunion and the summer months afterwards I hope you will join me at the May stated meeting on Wednesday, May 7th at 7:30 p.m. in the Austin Scottish Rite Temple.
Brother Christian Moore will begin the evening with meeting of the Collegium Ecossaise at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium. His presentation and following discussion will include the references to Deity in the Ineffable degrees.
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. by the Order of the Garde Manger in the dining room. We look forward to another great meal from Brother Chef Sentell, Brother Hoste, and the Garde Manger.
The stated meeting will begin in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
***PETITIONS***
If you have a petition for the 2025 Spring Reunion from a candidate, please make sure that you email it to me at gs@austinscottishrite.org on or before May 6th.
We will need to vote on any candidates at this stated meeting if they are interested in receiving the Degrees of the Scottish Rite at the Spring Reunion.
I urge you all to join us for the two-day reunion on Saturday and Sunday, May 17th an May 18th, 2025 in honor of Illustrious Brother Andrew McVeigh III, 33° I.G.H. The reunion is the best time to connect with Brothers that you haven’t seen in a while and to catch up on news around the Valley. The two-day format will allow for the quality of the degrees conferred to be exceptionally done by the Austin Scottish Rite degree teams. There will be degrees conferred at this reunion that have not been seen in the Austin Valley in more than a decade. Please come out and support our hardworking degree teams, the members of the Sanhedrin, and the Order of the Garde Manger. These Brothers have worked hard to confer these degrees and we should show them our support and appreciation in their efforts. Again I encourage you to come by for a degree or stay all day to welcome the new candidates and to support the Valley.
I hope to see you all at the Stated meeting on Wednesday and the Reunion on Saturday, May 17 and 18.
