I hope you are all doing well and getting ready for Fall. I would like to invite you to attend the Feast of Tishri that will take the place of our October stated meeting. The celebration of the Feast of Tishri is considered one of the obligatory meetings for the Scottish Rite. I encourage your attendance at the Feast and stated meeting to enjoy a special meal, education, and fraternity.
The Feast will be held in at the Austin Scottish Rite Temple on Wednesday, October 4 at 7:00 p.m.
The evening will start with a presentation by Brother Christian Moore and the Collegium Ecossaise at 5:30 p.m. in the Auditorium. The discussion topic will be on the Scottish Rite Feast days, the Obligatory days, and how they relate to the degrees.
Dinner will be served in the Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. where we will take part in the Feast of Tishri.
Donations for the meal will be accepted at the serving line. We look forward to special menu prepared by Brother, Chef Sentell and the Garde Manger.
The Stated meeting will be held at 7:30 pm. In the auditorium. The meeting will include a special rededication in addition to the business of the Austin Valley
Please make a note that if the parking lot at the building is full, there is free parking on the street and in the state parking garage that is located ½ block south of the Scottish Rite with access at Colorado Street.
The event is open to all Scottish Rite Masons.
